The US Hollywood International Film Festival (USHIFF) Golden Film Awards celebrates a new generation of filmmakers on Tuesday, December 15 in Hollywood, California. Morgan Fairchild, known for her roles in the popular television series, Dallas and Knots Landing is the recipient of the 2015 Outstanding Achievement Award. The Award will be presented by the USHIFF Committee Chairman, Michael Tse along with Co-Chairs, Dr. Jimmy Jiang (Chairman of Big Screen Entertainment Group and Producer of Hollywood International Film Exchange) and Kimberly Kates (CEO of Big Screen Entertainment Group/Actress/Producer). The Festival highlights filmmakers, and screenwriters, utilizing online video platforms and social media to introduce these films to a broadly diverse global audience. USHIFF pays tribute to those who have used the technical evolution of movie making in their unique and unorthodox approaches to the cinematic art. “I have attended and participated in numerous film festivals,” said Serita Stevens, further commenting, “These festivals give filmmakers a chance to commune with fellow filmmakers, supporters, media representatives and various professionals. I can tell you from personal experience I have made important contacts and lifelong friends from networking at festivals. It establishes mutually beneficial relationships and leads to many collaborative possibilities.”
Films from 25 countries are represented in the art and craft of cinematic storytelling, providing a platform for up and coming independent filmmakers as well as those seasoned professionals, will be recognized for the fine quality of their work.
